These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of sitebysteven.com and the website design, build, hosting-related, and update services offered by Site by Steven ("we," "us," or "Steven"). By requesting a preview, paying for a product, or using this site, you agree to these Terms.

Services

We design and build websites for local businesses. Current offers include a one-page website ($249), a multi-page website ($500), a monthly care plan ($49/mo), and single updates ($25). A free preview may be provided before payment. Domain and hosting for year one are included with the $249 and $500 website products as described on the homepage at the time of purchase.

No deposit; payment

Previews are free. Payment is due when you choose to make a site live or purchase another product. Payments are processed through Stripe via this website. Prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.

What we promise

We promise a professional website you can use: clear presentation of services, contact details, hours, and related business information as agreed. We do not promise Google rankings, a set number of leads, or specific revenue outcomes.

Timelines

Preview links are typically sent in about 12 hours after a complete request. Sites are usually live within 24 hours after you approve and pay, subject to domain readiness and timely feedback from you.

Your responsibilities

You confirm you have the right to use business names, logos, photos, and copy you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of business information (hours, phone, services) and for keeping login or domain credentials secure when they are under your control.

Care plan and updates

The monthly care plan covers small updates and keeping the site online under the plan terms current at signup. Single updates are billed per small change. Larger redesigns or new features may be quoted separately.

Refunds

Because work begins with a free preview and payment is collected when you choose to proceed, completed website purchases are generally non-refundable once work to publish has started. If a technical failure on our side prevents delivery, contact us and we will make it right.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Site by Steven is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or leads. Our total liability for any claim related to a paid product is limited to the amount you paid for that product in the twelve months before the claim.
